ROBERTS -- Judith Ann Roberts, a long-time resident of Albuquerque, NM and adored wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend, passed into God's hands after a long battle with Breast Cancer Thursday, March 18, 2010. She was preceded in death by her beloved mother-in-law, Lou Emma Roberts. She is survived by her husband, Gary Roberts; her daughter, Shelly Veatch and her granddaughter, Samantha of Denver, CO; her son, Michael Pruett, his wife Sherry and granddaughter, Jordan of Atlanta, GA ,her son Richard Pruett and his wife Brandi and granddaughter, Reagan Ann of Denver, CO; step-daughter, Kimberly Christian, her husband Gary and grandsons, Nicholas and Alex of Birmingham, AL; her brothers, James Simmons, David Simmons (Rosie) and Michael Simmons (Patty) all of Tyler, TX; her father-in-law, Lester H. Roberts (Lillian) of Farmington, NM; brothers-in-law Franklin Roberts (Joyce) of Mansfield, TX, Tommy Roberts (Cindy) of Farmington, NM and Steve (Jill) of Albuquerque; and her numerous nieces and nephews. She was a long time real estate appraiser in Albuquerque. She will be remembered by all who loved her as a loving, giving, kind, spectacularly strong and dignified woman and we will miss the joy she brought to everyone's lives. She chose to be cremated and we welcome those who wish to remember her at a Memorial Service to be held on Saturday, March 20, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at Saint Stephen's United Methodist Church at 4601 Juan Tabo NE, 87111, in Albuquerque with a reception to follow. The family would appreciate donations to the American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
