ABEYTA -- Michael Angelo Abeyta, "Mikey" also known as Miguel Angel Maldonado Jr., 29, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, was in a horrible motorcycle accident on December 19, 2009 and was called home to be with Our Lord on December 20, 2009. He was preceded in death by his best friends, Adam Anthony Andrew Anaya and Chris "Image" Elizaldez. Mikey was born on July 29, 1980. He is survived by his loving parents Miguel Sr. and Emily Maldonado. Mikey was the oldest of five brothers who he loved dearly, Lupe, Jose, Daniel and Alex Maldonado. He is also survived by his beloved children, Brianna Alexis 14, Rianna Mikael 10, their mother Lydia Andrea Ayala; Miguel Angel III, 1, his mother Jenny Fernandez; and Adam who is due May 2010 with Ariana Archuleta and step-son Estevan, 12. Mikey is survived by grandmother, Josephine Miranda; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and numerous cousins. Mikey was very well known in Albuquerque, he had many, many friends who loved to be with him and miss him dearly. He was President of "LEGALLY MC INSANE" motorcycle crew. He loved doing bike stunts, wheelies, tricks and was very proud to do the "Toys for Tots" bike runs. He was "The Grand Entrance" of every party and loved to be out dancing with his friends. He was definitely every ladies dream and every man's envy. He was very popular in Downtown clubs. Growing up, Mikey loved to play baseball, and with this great arm he won every game at the State Fair. He was excellent at winning every single one of them. He took pride in everything he did and owned. He had the world's most beaming smile, so beaming he had diamonds coming out of his mouth. His laugh was so big and loud you just couldn't get enough of his presence. He was the King of jokes and pranks, this we will miss. He attended Central New Mexico Community College with aspirations of becoming a Firefighter which is something he would have been great at. If you needed a dollar, he would go and sell something he owned and give you a thousand. This is something he took pride in, his love for helping others, making people laugh and being proud of who he was. He loved his life and he loved his family. Mikey bought his first motorcycle in early 2007 and loved riding with his boys of Legally Insane. He was the best at what he did and he died doing what he loved. Albuquerque just won't be the same without you Mikey. Everyone is lost without you and our lives are forever changed. Happy Valentine's Day up in Heaven. We all feel your presence and we thank you for the time we had with you. We love you Mikey. Until we meet again. Burial has taken place and friends and family are encouraged to visit Our Mikey at Mt. Calvary Cemetary located on Edith and Menaul. The mother of your girls, Dre
