SANCHEZ -- Roman "Ray" Sanchez went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, January 31, 2010. Ray is survived by his wife of 22 years, Suzzette "Sue"; two sons, Chris, wife, Carla and Mark, wife, Angie; step-daughter, Ronette; grandchildren, Antonia Rae, Christopher, and step-granddaughter, Savanah; two brothers, Albert, wife Lenor, and Alonso, wife Kenny; and three sisters, Gloria, husband Gilbert, Felia, husband Ignacio, and Valanda, husband Terry. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jennifer Rae; both his parents, Jose and Julia; and two brothers, Edenio and Johnney. Ray worked as an installer for House of Carpets for over 30 years. He loved his music and making people laugh. Ray was also a talented wood carver. A rosary will be recited Thursday, February 4, 2010, 7:00 p.m., at French - University Chapel. Services will be held Friday, February 5, 2010, 10:00 a.m., at French - University Chapel with interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menual Blvd. NE.
