OTERO -- Florian Otero passed away peacefully at his daughter's home in Albuquerque surrounded by his loving family on January 5, 2010. He was born May 6, 1921 to Lorenzo and Senida Sedillo Otero. He was a USAF veteran. He was preceded in death by his two children, Freddy Otero and Margaret Kanitz. He is survived by his loving wife, Celina Jaramillo Otero of 68 years; daughters, Julia, Patricia, Maria, Berna, Malva, Margaret; and sons, Leroy, Arturo, David, Leo, Raul; 33 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great-grandchildren. Services will be held on Saturday, January 16, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Augustine Church 71 Tribal Rd. 35th Isleta, NM. Immediately following services, the family will proceed to Tome Hill to spread his ashes at his final resting place. The family would like to invite you back to the home of Jason and Lisa Lucero for lunch following our journey to Tome Hill.
