CURRY -- James "Jim" T. died suddenly at age 64, on January 8, 2010. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Gloria; son, Travis; daughter, Wilene "Wally" Archibeque and her husband, John; grandchildren, Andrew and Sophia Archibeque; his brother, Steven Curry of Sedona, Arizona; his sister, Diane England of Phoenix, Arizona; and his sister, Nancy Brainard of Laguna Beach, California. Jim grew up in Arizona and served in combat during the Vietnam War. He graduated from Northern Arizona University with a degree in Forestry and was relocated to Albuquerque with Southwest Forest Industries. Jim met and married Gloria in 1972 and they embarked on their adventure. They started a construction company that would grow and become known for a willingness to tackle the impossible. Jim earned an MBA from the University of New Mexico and he was the perfect combination of brains and brawn. You could often find Jim and Gloria on the golf course or enjoying their winters, and each other's company, in Fountain Hills, AZ. Thank you, Jim, for teaching us to be good adults while affording us the luxury of not having to be grown-ups. We hope to do you proud. We will miss you terribly. A celebration of his life will be held at the Prairie Star on Santa Ana golf course in Bernalillo, on Saturday, January 16, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. Please visit our online guestbook for James "Jim" at www.RememberTheirStory.com.
