POSTLEWAIT -- Winona (Nona) D. Postlewait, 84, passed away December 31, 2009, at her son's home in Albuquerque surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Neffs, Ohio December 9, 1925 and had been a resident of Albuquerque since 1980. Nona had lived in Japan, Germany, France and several stateside military installations while raising her five children with her husband, an officer in the United States Army. She worked as a secretary in the cardiac care unit at Presbyterian hospital until retiring in 1990. Nona was a loving and devoted Mother and Grandmother. Her great-grandchildren referred to her as "G.G" ( Great Grandma). She was preceded in death by her husband of thirty years Guy B. Postlewait; parents Albert and Dora Lude; brother, Earl J. Lude; and grandson Guy B. Postlewait. Nona is survived by her children, Guy Postlewait and wife Nancy of Bethel, OH. Karen McCreary of Birmingham, AL. Gary Postlewait and wife Kay of Albuquerque, NM. Sandra Preuit and husband Larry of Milnesand, NM. Janet Ellison and husband Phil of Corrales, NM; sisters, Ada Mae Howell and Sue Leasure of Clarington, OH; 11 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. A family memorial and graveside service will be held at Fort Donelson National Cemetery, Dover TN. in the spring of 2010.
