MONTOYA -- Gabina Montoya, 87, went home to be with our Lord suddenly on Monday, January 4, 2010. A lifelong native of Albuquerque, Gabina was preceded in death by her husband Richard G. Montoya and daughter, Rebecca Otero. She is survived by her three children, Anna Lee Hernandez and husband Joe, Richard J. Montoya and wife Christine and Samuel Montoya,; 14 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Alejandra Duran, Theresa Leyba and husband David, and Agripina Garcia. Gabina was a member of the Sacred Heart Society and the Blue Army. A Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m., Friday, January 8, 2010 with the reciting of the Rosary at 10:00 a.m. followed by the Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. at San Felipe de Neri Catholic Church in Old Town. Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, Paul Hernandez, Joseph Hernandez, Joshua Montoya, Ryan Hernandez, Ashleigh Hernandez and Dj Williams.
