CALDERON -- Barbara T. Calderon 69, passed away December 19 2009 at home surrounded by her loving family and close friends. She was born September 18, 1940 in Albuquerque. She is survived by her father of 88 years, Isidro Chavez; and three sons, Juan Carlos and his wife Mona Calderon, Patrick W. and his wife Jennie Calderon, Daniel A. and his wife Sherri Calderon; ten grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; four sisters; two brothers, Doris and husband, Gilbert Sedillo, Patricia and husband, George Quintana, Cathy and husband, Herman Martinez, Arlene Portillo, Charlie Chavez and Isidro Chavez Jr. She was preceded in death by her husband Stanley Calderon of 73 years; her mother Victoria Chavez of 79 years; and brother Edward Chavez of 32 years. A viewing will be held from 6:00-7:00 p.m. prior to The Holy Rosary that will be recited December 22, 2009 at the Church Of Ascension 2150 Raymac Rd. SW, 87105. Mass will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. December 23, 2009. A reception will follow the church celebration in the parish hall. Pallbearers will be Grandsons Patrick W Calderon Jr., Jose A Marquez, and friends Daniel Valdez,Charlie Armijo, Joe Vigil, Marcello Lopez. Honorary pallbearers will be her grandson Jacob Calderon, Armando Rascon, and friend Levy Lopez. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and friend.
