BAXTER -- Helen L. Baxter, 86, passed away December 19, 2009. Preceded in death by her husband; one son; her parents; and brother. She is survived by son, Mark Culkin, Rio Rancho; daughter Sharon Culkin White and husband Ken, Albuquerque; stepsons, Otis Dean Baxter of Texas, Kenton Baxter of Oklahoma; and stepdaughter, Beverly Baxter Haussermann and husband Andy, Wichita, Kansas. She was loved by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Helen was a member of the Gospel Light Baptist Church RR, Young at Heart Gospel Choir, Highland Creative Writing Group, and SouthWest Writers. Service/Interment will be held in Wichita. A Young at Heart Memorial Service in Albuquerque will be announced later.
