LINDNER -- Ralph H. Lindner, 79, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, December 1, 2009. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Helga; his son Erich Karl; grandchildren Erich Curt and his wife Alisa and Caryn Elise; and great-grandchildren Lily Leia, Erich Robert and Balin Luke. He was born in Bethlehem, PA to Erich and Klara Lindner. He went to school at Moravian Prep School and served in the Navy on several aircraft carriers during the Korean Conflict. Ralph was a commercial pilot and retired from Eastern Airlines. He flew for the forest service - spraying for the Spruce Bud Worm and for forest fires. He also worked for PNM as a construction supervisor in charge of Alvarado Square. He worked for Coda Roberson Construction and flew their airplanes. He was security officer for California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks, CA. Ralph loved to bowl and belonged to several different leagues. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 8, 2009, 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE. Services will be Wednesday, December 9, 2009, 1:00 p.m. at Messiah Lutheran Church, 11515 Lomas Blvd. NE. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE with military honors.
