HURST MILLS -- Dorothy Hurst Mills, Ph.D., age 81, of Rio Rancho, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, December 1, 2009. Dorothy earned her doctorate degree from USC and taught at Chapman University for many years. She was married to Richard C. Mills for 41 years. He preceded her in death in 1992. Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Garnet Mills. A Celebration of Dorothy's Life will be held, Saturday, January 9, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at First Christian Church, 10101 Montgomery Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87111, where she had been a member for several years.
