JACKSON -- Ruth B. Jackson, was born in Cranston, RI in 1927 and passed away in Albuquerque, NM on December 1, 2009. She was preceded in death by her husband Jesse B. Jackson, Jr; and son James Laval Jackson. She is survived by her son, Arthur B. Jackson and wife Luz Ojinaga; and daughter, Lynn T. Jackson; grandchildren Paul Jackson, Sylvia, Laura and Ana Ruth Marques; and her brother Richard Bennett. She was a graduate of St. Luke's Hospital School of Nursing in New York City. After many years living abroad, Jess and Ruth moved to Albuquerque in 1977. Ruth was an avid bridge player and golfer and worked with a number of charities including the Assistance League, besides knitting many, many blankets for preemies.
