KIMMELL -- Arthur Kimmell, devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather died on November 22nd, 2009 in his sleep, after a lengthy battle with congestive heart failure. He was born in Albuquerque July 13, 1930. In his career, he performed research for Sandia National Labs, Los Alamos Labs, and the UNM Physics Dept. He was predeceased by: brothers Donald, Harold, and Dwight; sister Dorothy K. Shumaker; father Homer and mother Laura Kimmell; nephew, James Hudspeth and niece, Carol Torr. He is survived by: his dear wife Elizabeth; sister Marjorie K. Hudspeth; daughters Paulette K. Moore, Sylvia L. Kimmell, Cherie K. Gilsdorf; son-in-law Steven Gilsdorf; grandchildren Brandon Moore, Chandra Breidenbach and husband Michael, Jocelyn and Richelle Gilsdorf; nephew Ted A. Shumaker; great-nieces Jennifer T. Stout and Nicole Kamauoha; and dear friend Linda N. Fielding. A private, family-only graveside service was held on November 24, 2009 at Sunset Memorial Park. A memorial reception will be held on Saturday, November 28, 2009, at Calvary Church on Osuna NE in the Plex room at 1:00 p.m.
