FOX -- Louise Keller Fox, born September 23, 1929 in San Antonio, TX, passed away on November 16, 2009 after a four-year battle with Alzheimer's. Although her real name was Emma Louise, she never liked to use Emma. She met her beloved husband, Bob, at her first job at the corner drugstore. Their first date was a drive-in movie, but she also liked to dance to swing music. They married April 12, 1947 and moved to Houston in 1964. They moved to Albuquerque in January 2006 to rejoin their daughters, but Bob passed away February 12. She enjoyed visiting Meals on Wheels clients and "helping the old people" at Sandia Court. Louise loved her family more than anything in the world, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her daughters, Karan Johnson and husband Jim, and Wendy Dial and husband George; her grandchildren, Misty and Robby Johnson, and Amelia Dial; and great-grandchild, Lilly; her brother; her sisters-in-law; and many nieces and nephews who remember her as caring and fun-loving. Thank you to her caregivers at Share Your Care Los Volcanes and Sandia Court; and to VistaCare Hospice. In lieu of flowers, please donate to them or to Meals on Wheels. Funeral services will be held in San Antonio, TX, where she will be at rest with Bob at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
