EDER -- John D. Eder passed away November 12, 2009. John was born November 11, 1947 in Spokane, Washington. John earned his BA in Sociology from Kent State University. John worked as a volunteer teaching assistant at Mark Twain Elementary School working with kindergarten and first grade students. John's other passions included Democratic Party politics, casino gaming, and enjoying dining and entertainment with friends. John's parents Dr. Gerald and Sophie Eder preceded him in death. His cousin Robert Schweich and wife Monique, his closest friends Doug Grayson, Brian Mazer, David Nidel, and students and staff at Mark Twain Elementary School fondly remember him. A memorial service will be held at the home of Brian Mazer, 1600 Kentucky Ave. NE on Thursday, November 19, 2009 at 7:00 p.m.
