BOVAY -- Bartlett Ferguson Bovay, 95, died Sunday, October 25, 2009. He is survived by his children, Kevin Bovay and wife Tracy, Kenneth Bovay and wife Debbie, Michelle Spence and husband Jeff; grandchildren, Jimmy, Josh, Cherity, Shane, Shannon, Richard and Lissie and many other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Virginia. Mr. Bovay served in the US Army Air Corps as a flight officer and glider pilot during WWII. When he returned from the war he attended college to become an accountant. Bartlett worked for the Bureau of Indian Affairs as a financial officer before retiring after 25 years as Chief Financial Officer. He loved to fish and enjoyed many years traveling after retiring in 1972. Friends may visit French - Lomas Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, Wednesday, October 28, 2009, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held Thursday, October 29, 2009, at 1:00 p.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery, where he will be buried with his beloved Virginia.
