GURULE -- Mr. Jose G. "Willie" Gurule, 64, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on October 11, 2009. Mr. Gurule is survived by his wife of 34 years, Mrs. Lolita Gurule; his son, Dean Gurule; his brothers, Alex Gurule Sr. and wife, Bertha, Adolph Gurule and wife, Pat, Alfred Gurule Sr. and wife, Sadie, Lawrence Gurule Sr., and wife, Lupe, and Richard "Lefty" Gurule and Deborah; parents in law, Tony and Tillie Gutierrez; "his baby", Peanut; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mr. Gurule was preceded in death by his parents, Esequiel and Fina Gurule; his sisters, Helen Pino and Frances Gurule; and brothers, Leo, Gilbert, and Raymond Gurule. Visitation will be Thursday, October 15, 2009 from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by Gabriella Nieto. Final visitaiton will be Friday, October 16, 2009 from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. at St. Anne Catholic Church, 1400 Arenal SW, with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m., Father Nick Nichols, presider. Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Pete Chavez, Anthony Pino, Alex Gurule Jr., Alfred Gurule Jr., Lawrence Gurule Jr., and Joseph Gurule.
