FRANTZ -- Mary Jane Frantz, age 86, a resident of Albuquerque for 67 years, passed away on Friday, October 2, 2009. She was born on February 2, 1923, in Weir, Kansas, and took great pleasure in being a "Ground Hog" baby. She is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Carl; her daughters Gay Hill, and Laurie Carpenter and husband, Mike; two grandsons Chris Hill and wife Carol, and David Hill; two great-grandsons Christopher and Caleb Hill. Mary Jane was loved by all who knew her. She gave countless hours as a volunteer at Kaseman Hospital for 30 years and to her church, La Mesa Presbyterian. She had many friends and will be sorely missed. Memorial services will be on Thursday, October 8, 2009, 11:00 am at La Mesa Presbyterian Church, 7401 Copper NE. Reception to follow at the church.
