RAY -- Jo E. Ray, died on Monday, September 21, 2009. Ms. Ray was an Air Force Retiree, serving the Women's Army Corps and later in the United States Air Force for a total of 16 years active service and 22 years in a reserve status. She was a member of the Women's Army Veterans Association. She was also an avid golfer and active in the Women's Golf Association in the Albuquerque area. She is survived by her brother, Sherman Ray, Jr.; and many beloved nieces and nephews. Ms. Ray was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers; and four sisters. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date in her hometown of Bokchito, OK.
