PAUL -- Edna Paul, born in Dawson, NM on April 21, 1918 passed into the loving arms of Jesus, Sunday, September 5, 2009 at the age of 91. She is survived by her husband, George C. Paul of Albuquerque; her daughter, Carrie (Carole) Brown and husband, Paul R. Brown; son, Robert C. Paul and wife, Julie Paul, all of Albuquerque; seven grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. Edna will always be remembered by her relatives, dear friends, and associates for her loving smiles and always kind words for all. She worked in the restaurant business for over 35 years and was a member of the "Harvey Girls" way back when. Her favorite sport in her younger days was bowling. She participated in many, many bowling tournaments in Gallup and over the state of New Mexico. She was also President of our family-owned book binding business, Plastikoil, for 16 years. Edna loved the Lord with all her heart and lived her life accordingly. Today, she is joining with the angels in songs of worship of Him who was, and is, and will forever be. Services will be held in the Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel, 924 Menaul Blvd on Friday, September 11, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. Flowers will be accepted at the chapel or, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heights Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 8600 Academy Rd, NE, Abq, NM 87111 in memory of Edna.
