LYBARGER -- Faye Glassman Lybarger, 77, native of New Mexico, passed away peacefully September 4, 2009. She was born to Nate Glassman and Ethel Backal on June 5, 1932, and lived in Albuquerque for 76 years. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Edward L. Lybarger; sons, Samuel and wife Judy and Roy and wife Angela. She is also survived by her grandchildren Russell, Leslie, Ariel and Lily; sister, Sandy Berry; and brother Morton Glassman. Faye was a long time member of Hoffmantown Church, Thunderbird Trailer Club and Excel Trailer Club among others. She donated thousands of volunteer hours to her church, UNM hospital, and other volunteer organizations. Faye found joy in being a homemaker, doing flower arranging and other crafts, traveling with her husband and raising dachsands. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Joy Junction, 4500 2nd St. SW, 87125, 877-6967, www.joyjunction.org or another charity of your choice. Faye was a resident of St. John and St. Catherine nursing facilities for several years and her family appreciates their care and concern.
