CAPUTO -- Rose Caputo (Grandma Rose) of Rio Rancho, New Mexico, and formerly of New York, went to the eternal Lord on Tuesday, September 8, 2009. Rose enjoyed all of her 103 years. She was born October 27, 1905 in Palo Del Colle, Bari, Italy. Grandma Rose loved cooking; Bingo; and telling jokes, she will be missed by family and many friends. Rose was preceded in death by her beloved husband John; and one son, Frank. She is survived by her daughter-in-law Gloria of New Jersey; son, Joseph and wife Arlene of Rio Rancho, NM; grandchildren, Paul and wife Ruby of Rio Rancho, John and wife Kati of Chicago, IL, Robert and wife Bonnie of California, Paul and wife Betsy of Florida, John and wife Mary of California, Richard and wife Phyllis of New Jersey, Rose Ann Martin and husband Ben of Rio Rancho, NM; 23 great-grandchildren; and 15 great-great-grandchildren. The Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services, Sara Rd. at Meadowlark Ln., Rio Rancho with the Rosary being recited on Friday, September 11, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 12, 2009 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 1000 26th Avenue NE, Rio Rancho (North Hills). Interment will be in Vista Verde Memorial Park. A Reception will follow at the Greens Condominiums, 841 Country Club Drive, Rio Rancho.
