NIETO -- Toni J. Nieto, of Albuquerque, went to be with the Lord, Saturday, September 5, 2009. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert T. Nieto; and parents, Ramon and Eufelia Orona. She is survived by sister, Lupe Chavez; brother, Raymond Orona; niece Geraldine Gallegos and husband Robert; very special grandnieces, Jessica Rodarte and husband Ric, Veronica and Alexandra Gallegos; numerous nieces and nephews. She enjoyed teaching at Lavaland Elementary School for many years. Toni earned her masters degree in education from UNM. A rosary will be recited Tuesday, September 8, 2009 at 7:00 p.m., at French Mortuary Westside Chapel with a reception to follow. The Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated Wednesday, September 9, 2009 at 9:00 a.m., at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 5415 Fortuna Rd. NW. Pallbearers will be Robert Gallegos, Ric Rodarte, Ken Orona, and Dan Maestas. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ron Chavez, Raymond Frank Orona, and J.R. Ulibarri.
