MOON -- William C. Moon, CSM, US Army, (Ret.), 81, passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2009. He is survived by his spouse, Patricia; children, SSG William F. Moon, US Army, (Ret.) and wife, Sherry, Linda Fraschilla and husband, John and Maria Lopez; grandchildren, Anthony, Christopher and Jennifer Lopez, Aaron Moon, Cameron Leonard, Lillianna and Madison Fraschilla; and great-grandson Fabian. He is also survived by his extended family Jean Totzke children, Mike Totzke, Peggy Totzke and Becci Totzke and their children, Michael Totzke, Emma Scott, John and Laura Perea. He is also survived by his sister, Nora Yax and husband, Jud of Michigan as well as many friends. Mr. Moon served his country in the US Army during WWII, the Korean Conflict and Vietnam earning the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star. Later he worked for and retired from the Bernalillo County Sheriffs Department. William loved the outdoors where he enjoyed hunting and fishing. Services will be Friday, July 3, 2009, 11:00 a.m., at French, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, with Burial to follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
