MOORE -- Byrel Moore, 91, a resident of Albuquerque, died Wednesday, June 10, 2009. He is survived by his son, Darrell Moore; nephew, Johnny Lee Moore; sister-in-law, Othel Moore; and many other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his wives, Elizabeth Moore on April 1, 2002 and Jane Burk Moore on August 8, 2008. Byrel served his country as a highly decorated soldier and received a battlefield commission during WWII. He also served in the Korean Conflict in the Army. He then worked for Safeway grocery store where he retired in 1979. Graveside Services will be held Tuesday, June 16, 2009, 10:00 a.m., at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE, where he will receive full military honors. Friends and all military, reserves and retired members, uniforms optional, may visit French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, on Monday, June 15, 2009 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Byrel was loved and will be missed by many.
