MARTINEZ -- Gerald Johnny Martinez, 58, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on June 8, 2009. Mr. Martinez is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Gloria Martinez; his daughters, Adele Montoya and husband, Frederick, Amanda Martinez-Ramirez and husband, Antonio, and Andrea Garcia and husband, Frank; five sisters, Lorraine Martinez, Gloria Clark and husband, Ernest, Henrietta (Katie) Harden and husband, Warren, Clorinda Mascarenas and husband, David, and Alice Gallegos; four brothers, Joe E. Martinez and wife, Marie, Joe Oliver Martinez and wife, Eloida, Chris Martinez and Rudy Martinez and wife, Irene; 4 grandchildren, Matthew, Frederick II, Aaron C. Montoya and Johnny A. Garcia; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mr. Martinez was preceded in death by his parents Enrique and Maria Louisa Martinez; one brother, Fermin Martinez; and sister, Eva Cata. Mr. Martinez was a member of the Catholic Church. Visitation will be Thursday, June 11, 2009 from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Gabaldon Mortuary in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by Joe Oliver and Eloida Martinez. Final visitation will be Friday, June 12, 2009 from 8:30 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco SW, with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:00 a.m., Franciscan Friar, presider. Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Matthew Montoya, Frederick Montoya II, Pres Martinez, Jerome Sanchez, Terry Martinez, Benny Lucero, Manuel P. Montoya III and Randy Martinez. Honorary pallbearers will be Aaron C. Montoya, and Johnny A. Garcia. Arrangements by: Gabaldon Mortuary 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW 243-7861
