SEMMLER -- Alfred J. Semmler, age 64, a resident of Los Lunas, NM, passed away Wednesday morning, May 27, 2009 from lung cancer. He was born and raised in New Jersey, moving to New Mexico in 1975 with his first wife and two children. He worked as a machinist, at first with UMSCO, then BF Goodrich (originally Gulton Industries). Alfred is survived by his two brothers, Paul and Henry; daughter, Dawn; son, Robert; two grandchildren, Michael and Haley; two nephews, Scott and Brian; and two nieces, Helaina and Rachel. A viewing will be held at Romero Funeral Home Chapel, on Friday, May 29, 2009 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. An informal "Irish" wake will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2009 at the Family Home, 41 Lake View Street, in Los Lunas between 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. Sign Alfred's online register book at www.romerofuneralhomenm.com.
