LOPEZ -- Paul Ismael Lopez, beloved son, father and brother, passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2009 in Mountainair at the age of 31. Paul was a member of the Electrical Workers Local Union 611. He is survived by his mother, Catalina McDonald; daughter, Alyssa Lopez; siblings, Denise Rubi and husband, Chris, Trinidad Lopez, Bernadette Villanueva and husband, Carlos, and Jean Torres and husband, Lional; grandmother, Arsenia Lopez; godson, Myles Sheppard; girlfriend, Luisa Lara and her children, Lillian Lucero and Nickalus Barela; nephews,Raymond Lopez, Anthony Villanueva, Vincent Villanueva, Samuel Rubi, Victor Torres, Alex Villanueva and Jovan Torres; and nieces, Renee Torres and Addison Villanueva. Visitation for Paul will be held on Friday, May 1, 2009 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Salazar & Sons Mortuary. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2009, in Mountainair, NM at the St. Alice Church where the Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at the Abo Cemetery in Abo, NM. Pallbearers will be Trinidad Lopez Jr., Chris Rubi, Michael Sheppard, Tony Medina, Stevie Torres, Raymond "Mono" Torres, Julian Lopez and Jeremy Lajeunesse. Honorary pallbearers will be Anthony Villanueva, Samuel Rubi, Vincent Villanueva, Victor Torres, Jovan Torres and Alex Villanueva.
