MONTOYA -- Serito Trujillo Montoya "RICO" born August 30,1936 in Soccoro, NM to Emma Trujillo and Serito Montoya. Serito was surrounded by his loving family when he passed at the Veterans Hospital in Albuquerque, March 20, 2009. He is survived by his only son, Lance and his partner, Alicia from Oakland,CA; sister, Romona Ortega from Albuquerque; her children, Priscilla (Richard) Carabajal, Richard Ortega, Fortino (Ramona) Ortega, Kathy (Keith) from Hutto TX, Michael (Yvonne) and Ray Gomez; two brothers, Louie Montoya and wife, Nora and their son, Louie and wife, Tamara from K Junction, OR. Mike Montoya, wife, Diana and their children, Theresa, husband. Ronald James, son. Anthony Montoya and several other nephews, nieces, and friends. Serito served our country as a Marine from 1956-1959. He was an active and faithful Catholic member at Holy Family Church. Services were held at Sacred Heart Church. Deacon Robert Vigil recited the rosary. Lance and his family would like to thank everyone who was in attendance and for the support, thoughts and prayers.
