HERRINGTON -- Nancy L. Herrington passed away March 19, 2009. Born in Grand Rapids, MN on May 3, 1932, Nancy was a resident of Albuquerque for 72 years. She was preceded in death by her infant son Charles L. Herrington, II; parents John R. Dickinson, II and Florence M. Dickinson; and brother, John R. Dickinson, III. She is survived by her three daughters and their spouses Terri and Larry Simmons of Hesperus, CO, Patti and Greg Rael and Kathi and Robert Hatcher, all of Albuquerque. She is also survived by her sister Janet French of Farmington, NM; sister-in-law Delphie Dickinson of Albuquerque; and many nieces and nephews. Nancy's joy in life were her six grandchildren, Samuel Rael, Nicolas Rael, Jacob Hatcher, Abigail Hatcher, Heather Simmons and Devin Simmons. She was much loved and will be greatly missed. Nancy worked for many years at Rio Bravo Animal Clinic and Territorial Landscape Co.- jobs which reflected her love of nature and which allowed her to form many lifelong friendships. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 21, 2009 at French - University Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE. Internment will follow at Sunset Memorial Cemetery.
