WALK -- Bill Walk, 78, a resident of Albuquerque since 1975 and a lifelong resident of New Mexico, passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2009. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Peggy; children Diana Moore and husband Bill of Albuquerque, Joyce Zugelter and husband Tom of Vero Beach, FL, Spike Walk and Laura of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Bryan Moore and wife Terri, Stephanie Moore, Michael Moore and wife Crystal, Kyle Zugelter, Austen Zugelter, Shane Walk and Lianne Walk. Bill was preceded in death by his parents Cecil and Montie Walk. Bill was born in El Paso, TX, and raised in Tucumcari, NM. After an honorable discharge from The United States National Guard, he worked and retired from the New Mexico State Highway Department. In retirement he enjoyed traveling, fishing and spending time with his family. Services will be held on Tuesday, March 10 at 10:00 a.m., at French Mortuary located at 7121 Wyoming Blvd, Albuquerque, NM. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Cemetery.
