RENTZSCH -- Roy Charles Rentzsch, 73, of Ooltewah, TN, formerly of Cedar Crest, NM passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2009. He was the son of the late Charles and Anna Rentzsch. Roy was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He retired from Sandia National Laboratories as an electrical engineer. Roy had a great love for his family, the outdoors and wildlife. He attended Ooltewah Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Marcy Rentzsch; three children and their spouses, Kevin (Lara) Rentzsch, of Austin, TX., Brian (April) Rentzsch, of Dallas, TX., Kristi (Brent) Haldeman, of Apison, TN.; and seven grandchildren, Katya, Jeffrey, Mataya, Christopher, Daniel, Ethan and Nathan. Memorial services were held February 27, 2009 in the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
