MCCAIN -- Jay Peter McCain, 73, passed away on February 14, 2009. Jay Peter McCain graduated from the New Mexico Military Institute in 1954, later earning a degree from UCLA in psychology and philosophy. He worked for the Dept. of Women and Children in Santa Fe for many years, then moved to Albuquerque, and was employed by the UNM Children's Psychiatric Hospital until retiring. He was a film buff, keeping up with all the latest releases and collecting many DVDs. He appreciated good food, beautiful music, family and friends. He is survived by his sister, Bernice Fiske; nephew, Lionel Fiske; a great-niece and great-nephew Jennifer and David Fiske. Friends are invited to honor him with a toast at the Tap Room, Friday, March 6, 4:30 p.m.
