JACKSON-BROWN -- Beverly Jackson-Brown, went home to the Lord on Saturday, February 28, 2009. She was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. She was a devoted wife and mother. She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Franklin Brown; children Michael Anthony Brown, Britteny and Candice Brown; her parents Walter and Eddie Mae Jackson; sisters Debra Ann Henry and her husband Joseph Henry, Jr. and Veronica Jackson-Smith and her husband Ronnie Smith; nephews Franklin Cummings Jr. and Joseph Henry; nieces Rashida Z. Henry and Jamila J. Jackson-Smith; and a host of aunts, uncles and friends; brothers-in-law Charles Brown and Richard Brown and his wife, Carolyn; niece and nephews Shannon, Kevin, Richard, Shawn and Carlton; and a host of aunts, uncles and friends. She was a 1981 graduate of Cheyney State College. She was a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. She worked as a Senior Accountant at University of New Mexico for 17 years. Services will be Thursday, March 5, 2009, 11:00 a.m. at French Lomas Chapel. Services will also be Monday, March 9, 2009, Oak Lane Presbyterian Church, Philadelphia, PA.
