RICHARDS -- Marian Fay Cardon Richards, age 92, a resident of Albuquerque since 1958, died on Sunday, March 1, 2009, of natural causes due to old age at the Beehive house in Albuquerque. She is survived by two sons, Michael Richards and wife, Margaret Tiffin of Germany, and Bart Richards and wife, Shannon of Sinking Springs, PA; and her twin daughters, Jean Burnham and husband, Kim of Stillwater, OK, and Joan Langholf and husband Dever of Albuquerque; and her two sisters, Phyllis Thomas and husband Bill of Carson City, NV and Jean Stewart of Ogden, UT. She was the grandmother to 14 grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Fay was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 62 years, Lee R. Richards; a son, Bruce; a daughter, Marian Albright; and a brother, Walter Earl Cardon. She was born in Ogden, Utah on July 9, 1916 and was the first of three daughters of Walter Arnold and Mabel Anne Moore Cardon. Her love and talent was music; playing piano and organ for family and church since her teen years. Services will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of latter Day Saints Kachina Chapel, 6009 Kachina NW, on Thursday, March 5, 2009, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Park, 700 Yale SE.
