MARTINEZ -- Frederick Ronald Martinez, 73, of Alamosa, Colorado, passed away in Albuquerque on Sunday, March 1, 2009. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Marie Domie Martinez and his daughter Donna Lynn Martinez. He is survived by his children Rodney B. Martinez and wife Susan, and Diane Barreras and husband Albert, his grandchildren; Markus, Michelle, Samuel and Jacob, and his brother Frankie Martinez. A visitation will be held at the 8th Street Chapel of Garcia Mortuary on Thursday, March 5, 2009 beginning at 5:00 p.m. A Rosary will be recited on Thursday, March 5, 2009, at 7:00 p.m., also at the 8th Street Chapel and Mass of Christian Burial will celebrated on Friday, March 6, 2009 at 9:00 a.m., at St. Anne's Catholic Church. Interment will follow Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be John Vicens, Markus Barreras, Albert Barreras, Andrew Montoya, Adam Giron and Eric Giron.
