ROMERO -- Lorenza Romero, 55, died February 22, 2009. She was born in Las Vegas, New Mexico, on August 5, 1953 to Juanita and Felipe Tafoya. She was a resident of Albuquerque since the late 70's. She was happily married for 35 years and cherished the time spent with her family. She enjoyed the simple things, appreciated life, and was known to put others needs before her own. Lorenza had a huge heart and was a forgiving person; overall, she was a beautiful woman. Lorenza Romero is survived by her husband Michael Romero of Santa Fe, NM; six sisters, three brothers; daughters MaryJane Chavira, Charmaine Tafoya, Michelle Tafoya, and Jasmine Williams; son, Eddie Joe Tafoya; 12 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. The Family will receive family and friends on Friday February 27, 2009 from 1:00 p.m.- 2:00 p.m. at Riverside Funeral Home.
