ROYBAL -- Maria Tomasita S. Roybal, 76, went to be with our Lord on February 06, 2009. She was born on September 11, 1932. Maria was preceded in death by her father, Florindo Sanchez; mother, Aurora A. Lucero; sister, Marcella Martinez; and in laws, Mr. & Mrs Roybal; sister in law, Dolores Roybal. She is survived by her husband Gilbert A. Roybal; six sisters, Ambrosia Sanchez and family, Flora Rice and husband, Jerry, Tina Ulibarri and husband, Tony, Viola Lopez and family, Mary Lucero and family, and Charlotte Lucero and family; three brothers Casey Lucero and family, Salvador Lucero and family, and Jose David Lucero; brother in laws Gerald Roybal, Ray Roybal and wife Carolina and family. She is also survived by a special aunt, Ellie Lucero, nieces, nephews, friend, cousins, and one very special cousin, Barbara Lujan. Maria was a loving person who enjoyed having company, loved going to bingo, dancing and enjoyed life. Rosary will be held at Daniels Family Funeral Services on Wednesday, February 11, 2009, at 7:00 p.m.. The funeral service will be Thursday, February 12, 2009, at 8:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Annunciation. Burial will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery where she will be laid to rest.
