DANIEL -- Cecelia Belle Daniel, born August 8, 1925 in Hollywood, California, passed away February 3, 2009 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She is survived by her four sons, Terry Clyde Daniel and his wife, Caroline of Tucson, Arizona, Ted Cameron Daniel and his wife, Christina, of Houston, Texas; Michael Hoyt Daniel and his wife, Karen of Albuquerque, New Mexico and James Wiley Daniel and his wife, Margarita of Rio Rancho, New Mexico; 11 grand-children and ten great-grandchildren. Cecelia graduated from Olney High School where she was voted Most Beautiful Girl, attended the University of Oklahoma, was a member of the PTA, a Cub Scout Den Mother, was an amateur actress and performed in various stage plays in the local Elks Club of Silver City, New Mexico; was a Regional Director of the National Conference of Christians and Jews, a Group Facilitator of the UNM Regional Medical Program. Adrian Daniel, her husband of 59 years, and Cecelia were life-long members of the Christian Church, (Disciples of Christ) working in all areas of church service. She and Adrian were charter members of Bethany Christian Church in El Paso, Texas and members of Monte Vista Christian Church in Albuquerque. She enjoyed raising her children as a devoted wife and mother, helped with Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Explorer Scouts, and Little League Baseball and practically all other activities of her children. Cecelia was a devoted and loving wife and mother who put the interests of her family above her own. Cecelia was the center piece of love and affection for many generations for the Daniel Family, and she and Adrian often invited those in need of Christian love and support into their home. A Memorial Service will be held at Monte Vista Christian Church, 3501 Campus Blvd. NE. at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 7, 2009. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial donations be made to the American Rheumatism Association or Monte Vista Christian Church.
