SAYLOR -- Gilbert Saylor Jr., 84, passed away on Tuesday, February 2, 2009, with his loving family by his side. Mr. Saylor was born on July 16, 1924 to Gilbert Sr. and Treva Saylor. After retiring from the Army, Mr. Saylor worked as an Arson Investigator for the County of Bernalillo, for many years. Mr. Saylor is preceded in death by his wife of 57 years Elizabeth "Betty" Saylor in February of 2008, and one son Stephen Saylor. Mr. Saylor is survived by his son Dave Saylor and wife Christine of Bloomfield NM; two daughters Loretta A. Buffalow and husband Johnny, Elizabeth Roxanne Robustelli of Los Lunas, NM; grandchildren, Jessica and David Saylor, Jenny Peasley (Brian), J. B. Buffalow, Landon and Madelyn Martin, Gilbert and Stephen Buffalow, and Samantha Chavez; nine great-grandchildren; two brothers, and one sister. Public visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 4, 2009 at Daniels Family Funeral Services Palm Chapel 1100 Coal Ave. SE. A Rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. at Daniels Family Funeral Services. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, February 5, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at San Clemente in Los Lunas, 244 Luna Rd NE.
