WELCH -- Allen "Buddy" Welch, 65, passed away Tuesday, January 27, 2009. Buddy is survived by his daughters, Donna Welch and husband, Joseph Torres, Pamela Ulibarri and husband, Greg Ulibarri; five grandchildren, Jonan, Jaden, and Reanna Torres, Sophia Ulibarri and baby, Noelle; his mother, Helen Welch; sister, Ann Devoe; brothers, Kenneth Welch and wife, Karen, Glenn Welch; and best friend, Vic Luera. Buddy is preceded in death by his wife, Jeanette and his father, C.W. Welch. Buddy was an avid Denver Broncos fan and enjoyed watching NASCAR on Sunday afternoons in his shed. There will be a memorial service on Tuesday, February 3, 2009 10:30 a.m. at Direct Funeral Services, 2919 4th Street NW, Abq. NM. Interment of cremated remains will be held at the Santa Fe National Cemetery following the memorial at 2 p.m.
