BODDY -- Jackie M. Boddy, 77, born October 8, 1931, passed away at home Thursday, January 22, 2009. Jack is survived by his wife, Peggy; children, Corky and his wife, Judy, Jeff and his wife, Judy, and Jodie and her husband, Mike; grandchildren, Amanda, Robert, Jessica, and Jonathan; great-grandchildren, Aaron and Jackson; brother, Jim; and other family and friends who loved him and will miss him. Jack served 21 years in the US Air Force and retired as a Master Sergeant. Jack's second career was in heavy duty equipment sales. Jack was an accomplished artist in various mediums, especially oil painting. Jack was also an instrument-rated pilot of small aircraft. Jack was a devoted family oriented person. His love and guidance will be greatly missed by his family. A Memorial Service will be held at Central United Methodist Church, 201 University Blvd, NE, on Saturday, January 31, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. followed by a reception at the church until 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be given to the American Cancer Society, 10501 Montgomery Blvd NE # 300, Albuquerque, NM 87111, (505) 262-2333.
