PAYNE -- Norma Louise Payne born March 21, 1948, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, passed away on December 31, 2008, in Albuquerque. Norma was a long-time resident of Albuquerque. She was employed for 29 years in Blood Bank at Presbyterian Hospital. She is survived by her partner, Georgia Jones; and her sisters, Margaret (Dan) Pennington, Paula J. Payne, and Carolyne Payne; nieces, Carolyne Ann (Brian) Greeno and Robin Sue (Tim) Green; great-nephew, Daniel Louis Greeno, and great-nieces, Briana Greeno and Megan Green. Norma loved dogs, travel, card games, science-fiction and fantasy, and dragons. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Private celebrations of her life will be held at her home in Albuquerque and at her sisters' homes in Arizona.
