TAYLOR -- Carol L. Taylor, 83, born and raised in Pawnee, OK and a resident of Albuquerque since 1952, passed unexpectedly although peacefully, at home on Sunday, December 21, 2008 with family in attendance. Beloved mother, she is survived by her sons, Jeffrey S. Taylor, Richard J. Taylor and wife Lynn, and Scott R. Taylor. She was the daughter of Stanley and Lilla Smith. She was preceeded in death by her brother, J.B. Smith, her son, Thomas R. Taylor and her husband Harry R. Taylor. She was a kind and gentle woman, a square dancer, a collector of beautiful porcelain dolls, and last but not least, an enthusiastic animal lover, who often found homes for the many fortunate dogs and cats who crossed her path. At Carol's request, cremation has taken place and there will be no immediate service. Donations in her memory can be made to the Animal Humane Assoc., P.O. Box 27827, Albuq. NM 87125.
