ESTVANKO -- Cecilia (Ceci) Louise Estvanko of Albuquerque passed away beautifully and peacefully the evening of Thursday, December 25, 2008. Ceci is survived by her children Pasty Chavez of Taos, NM, Cecilia Jean Schmider and husband, Jerald Schimder, Gloria Lloyd and fiance, Dr. Walter Zubrzycki, Roger Martinez and wife, Carol Martinez of Alamogordo, NM; 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; brother, Albert Toledo; sister, Dorella Riboni of Santa Fe; life-long partner and friend, Ralph Ortiz and his children and grandchildren; her nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and neighbors. Ceci's legacy will be her vast generosity, wit, beauty, sharp-thinking, and of course, her priceless smile. She was the life of every party, a caregiver, a companion, a nurturer, and a community advocate and volunteer. Ceci's compassion and empathy was continuously given to the homeless, therefore her family is asking that all proceeds for flowers and gifts be given on Cecilia's behalf to the Albuquerque Health Care for the Homeless by mail to PO Box 25445 Albuquerque, NM, 87125, phone number 767-1177. Visitation will be Saturday, January 10, 2009 in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel from 1:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. with a Memorial Service at 2:00 p.m., Pastor Raphael Padilla, presider.
