PETERSON -- John A. Peterson, 73, passed away December 20, 2008. He is survived by his children, James Peterson and Karen Gutierrez (Vincent); grandchildren, Aaron, Corey, Amy, and Vanessa. Also surviving are his children by his marriage to Marni, (deceased), Lisa McCary (Dennis), Nan Becker, and Kevin Peterson (Marie); grandchildren, Lea and Shana. He is also survived by his brother David and Barbara Peterson; sister Amy and Fred Kolflat. John and Marni were the owners of Peterson Lumber Co. in Albuquerque. At his request, he was cremated and his ashes will be scattered at his beloved cabin at a later date.
