LUCERO -- Dorothy A. Lucero, age 70, beloved and devoted, wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, was called home to be with the Lord after a courageous battle with cancer, Friday, November 28, 2008, while surrounded by her loving family. Dorothy was born in Mountainair, NM and was a resident of Albuquerque. Dorothy a devoted Catholic was a member of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, and served the Lord in the Ministries of the Sacred Heart League, the Altar and Rosary Society, Catholic Daughters, Los Guadalupanos, Las Carmeletas, Praying Mothers, Auxiliary of the Felician Sisters, St. Vincent de Paul Society, and many more. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jose C. and Nellie Salaz. Dorothy is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Raymond J. Lucero, Sr.; her children, Raymond A. Lucero, Jr. and wife Jennifer, Gerald J. Lucero and wife Monica, Martin R. Lucero and wife Stacy, Christopher M. Lucero, and Bernadette V. Frederick and husband Richard; 17 precious grandchildren; and her brothers, Jose A. (Bobby) Salaz and wife Mina, Reyes P. Salaz; and other numerous relatives and a host of friends. Dorothy will be greatly missed by all. Visitations will Sunday, November 30, 2008, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services-Alameda Mortuary. A Rosary will be recited Sunday at 6:00 p.m. at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church. Final viewing will be Monday, December 1, 2008, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. in the Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services - Alameda Mortuary. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 9:00 a.m. at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Casket Bearers will be Justin Frederick, Nathan Frederick, Julian Romero, Jose A. Salaz, Marcos Salaz, and Robert Salaz, Andres R. Lucero, Noah J. Lucero. Honorary Bearers will be Luke M.
