FOLLIS -- Mary Lou Follis, 88, was born October 15, 1920 in House, NM to Mary Florence (Pinchback) True and William Wesley True. Mary Lou went to be with the Lord on November 17, 2008 in Albuquerque, NM. She was preceded in death by her husband Wayne of 52 years in February 1995. She was also preceded in death by two of her sons, Roy Wayne Follis, her first born, who died in December 1944 at the age of only a few days and Gary Ray Follis, her last born, who died during his third open heart surgery in September 1959 at the age of almost nine years. Mary Lou is survived by one sister, Helen Ruth Grimes of Joseph City, AZ; three sons, Ron Follis and wife Jackie of Austin, TX, Bob Follis and wife Judy of Albuquerque, NM, and Bill Follis and wife Gloria of Austin, TX; five grandchildren, Cheryl McCarson and husband Eric, Gary Follis, Tim Follis and wife Amanda, Todd Wilson and Cheryl Wilson; seven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Mary Lou became a Christian in 1945, and found her calling to serve the Lord as Church Secretary. The most recent Churches where she served were Academy Baptist, Parkview Baptist and Riverside Baptist here in Albuquerque and Tigua Baptist in El Paso, TX. Pallbearers are Ron Follis, Bob Follis, Andrew Follis, Larry Lethgo, Mike Kittredge, and Leroy Rex. Honorary Pallbearers are Bill Follis, Gary Follis, Tim Follis, Todd Wilson, Wesley McCarson, and Trevor McCarson. Visitation for public will take place on Friday, November 21, 2008. Memorial Services will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 22, 2008 at French Mortuary Westside Chapel, 9300 Golf Course Rd NW. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd NE. The family would like to especially thank the personnel from Total Community Care, LLC and Mountain View Manor for their extraordinary loving and compassionate care provided to Mary Lou making her final four months as comfortable as possible.
