TERRAZAS -- Dolores, loving mother and devoted wife to Augustine went to be with her Lord on Thursday, November 6, 2008. Her 60 years of marriage to Gus was filled with devotion and love. Dolores was born, raised, and married in Albuquerque where she attended Queen of Heaven Catholic Church and was a devoted member of the Altar Rosary Society and Catholic Daughters serving faithfully with her close friends. Her parents, Richard and Stella Sanchez and her sister, Stella Sanchez preceded her. Her children are Elizabeth Serda, Robert Terrazas, Stella Rivera, John Terrazas, Rose Grieves, and Richard Terrazas. Her grandchildren, Michelle Smith, Christina Prudencio, Kristin Grieves, and Megan Grieves were the loves of her life having been there daily during her uniquely spiritual journey to heaven. All who visited were blessed with a quiet grace. Her legacy of faith remains with her 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; one sister and four brothers. Her faith gave her a life of prayer and consideration for the needs of others. The family would like to thank Leroy Cisneros, Katie Beck, Tony Barboa, and nurse's aide Julia from Rehabilitation Center of Albuquerque for their kind and loving care and to social worker Anita Morales and Fr. Ralph Herrera who imparted wonderful words of consolation and wisdom. In addition, Ambercare's Hospice group consisting of Chaplain Joan Braunhardt, Nurse Margaret, and Harpist Donise were at the family's side.
