SAMPSON -- LARRY J. We are very sad to announce the passing of Larry J. Sampson of New Mexico on November 5, 2008. He was born July 19, 1941 and was a devoted father to all that were blessed to know him. He is preceded in death by grandson Bobby Lee Shelton. He leaves behind his wife of 30 years Maria Kay Sampson, to whom he was a devoted husband and amazing friend. He also leaves behind children Susan and Gig Thornburg, Kami and Chad Kelly, Leonard Shelton, Sherri Shelton and Gary and Donelle Brown; along with grandchildren Terra, Tucker, Jami, Jay Paul, Brad, Rachelle and Kaiden Jay; he also had three great-grandchildren. Larry was truly an amazing man, and the world was a better place because he was around, he will be missed. Services are to be held Monday at 11 at the LDS Church in Grants, NM. We love you DAD, you will forever be in our hearts.
